Anyone know abut counted cross stitching??

I just learned how to do this and found a cute pattern for a baby bid. The pattern says I need a 14 count bib with a design area of 8 1/2″ X 4 7/8″. I am on bed rest due to a pregnancy and can not go to any craft store to look so I’ve just been looking online, but I can not find any bibs that would be the right size. Any ideas? I’m very bored!

    use cross stitch material
    make the bird
sew it into another bib or make your own bib from it

    Check this page out. http://herrschners.com/products/product.aspx?sku=125034

It has the bib with the design area available. I think this is what you are looking for. Otherwise, Herrschners has kits to do the projects with everything included.

Go to Joann.con and look under crafts and then the material you want. There are a lot of them and since your are bed ridden [sorry to hear about you being bed ridden hope you will be OK soon] get a phone number and see if one of the representatives will give you the information you want as to the softness of the material. If you can get it in a smaller pkg get two and put another design on the other side. Don’t worry that it says 14 count as all of your patterns will show up your stitching in a 10 X 10 block so if you get a 28 you would go over four blocks instead of two. I have a way for you not to have to count and if your interested e-mail me.
EDIT I know you didn’t ask for this but if you like cards go to angeleyes.com and you can spend hours there. My husband made me get off as I spent too much time there.
