Hobby Lobby or Michaels both have good websites that would carry those items.

To find a website to order the soap base, you want to out in a search for “glycerin” or “melt and pour soap.” A popular website is http://www.warehousesuppliesplus.com. You are going to notice that the shipping for a large block of this soap is VERY HIGH. If you live in a large town, you may be able to find a local supplier, that would save you big bucks if you could go pick it up. Just search using the keywords above, or “soapmaking supplies.”

As far as the lampshade goes, the easiest way to provide what your grandmother wants is to go to a cheap store and find a shade like she wants and buy the cheapest one. Then take it home and rip off all the fabric carefully. Then clean up the metal if there is any glue residue or the like using goo gone or a similar cleaner, then wipe clean with window cleaner on a paper towel. To first find and then have shipped the bare shade would be much more time consuming and expensive.
    Good Luck.
