Any ideas for craft from scrap?
We have a project which involves making craft or any useful material from trash or some discarded materials for that matter.Any ideas or help or if you can, please provide a website where I can get some of these ideas. Thanks!

i like to make scrapbooks out of interesting pictures and articles found in old books and magazines
Also why not get ideas from an art teacher or use your own Imagination to make something instead of the the cliche idea of relying on the internet
you can use left-over/scrap fabric to make yo yo quilts, scrunchies & other accessories, quilts & patchwork/applique, ….
scrap wool can be used to knit clothes & hair for dolls, tiny glass mats, napkin holders …
plastic containers & their lids can be cut into various shapes & used as desired.
almost all scrap can be used to make collages; to adorn scrap books, lamps, frames, mirrors….
old newspapers, etc. can be used to make beautiful papier mache articles including toys, utensils, holders, pictures/artwork, etc….
use pieces of waste wire, strings, nuts & bolts, bottles corks/caps, etc. etc. to make an artwork or create some toys.
dried flowers [including on old bouquet], twigs, leaves, & vegetable/fruit peels, etc. can all be used to make compost for the garden.
you just need to go round your house & environs with a “new” eye for creativity – everything you see may inspire you to use it differently
hope these ideas get you thinking about many more
all the best
I like to make doll furniture from Tinker Toys and cloth cushions that I sew myself. Scrap fabric works great for making small doll furniture cushions.
how about making little halloween ornaments or x-mas ornaments
One I like is making beads from old magazine pages or used envelopes. Some people use them to make their own jewelry, others sell them. There are several videos on ‘youtube’ that show how.

Another idea is to take your old clean plastic grocery bags and fuse them to make a new fabric you can make permanent tote bags, etc., out of.

I’m not sure what type of trash you’re thinking of using, but the
website http://www.kidoozy.com
has some good ideas for using empty toilet paper rolls, old photographs, old fabric and more, extra halloween candy, and more.
Happy Crafting!
