Any good craft uses for wine bottles?

For a large wine bottle of colored glass, preferably, thread in a small set of twinkle lights. Let them coil around inside the bottle. Leave the plug hanging out Lay bottle on it’s side and plug in. I like it with floral arrangement around the bottle and a little lace to frou frou it up a bit. Makes a really pretty light.

Ask around and find out if any little home winemakers want them. Lots of amateur vintners are scrounging for bottles. You never know a little kindness might just be rewarded with bottles of a good homemade vintage.

You can use it as a candle holder, paint it for decoration, colourful sand art, fill it with bath salts or potpourri to give as a gift or you could even go to a make your own wine store where you can use your own wine bottles.
