Any cute craft websites besides martha stewart’s?
Who here ever follows martha stewart’s crafts projects? I just got so discouraged trying to make something I gave up. Are there any craft websites besides hers where I can find nursery crafts?
I am looking into making wall decor, personalised items such as sippy cups and hats.. any ideas?

I was listening to HGTV on XM Radio and heard about this fun book called Dollar Store Decorating. I went to Barnes and Noble and ordered it – it sound EXACTLY like what you want. Crafts that are fun, inexpensive, look great, are ingenious and take practically no time to complete.
I normally don’t recommend books, but this one was fun. If you’re not near a bookstore, order it from the library!
Try http://www.craftster.org . It’s a whole online community dedicated to crafts, complete with craft challenges, instructions, craft swaps, etc. If you want to make nursery crafts, you should be able to find some information in the “Baby Shower” section. Just click on “Occasions and Holidays” on the main page to find it.

I like to use materials as inspiration for a project. A unique antique or nick-nack can really spark the imagination.
Try browsing thrift stores or yard sales for items that might inspire a theme for the room.
