    maybe it was to rehydrate your hands, but that is not based in knowledge or fact…

    Kerosene is used to remove glue and paint from your hands, but I wouldn’t do it if my hands were relatively clean.

    only needed if you use oil based paints, etc. it will dry your skin out so dont use it if you dont have to.

    I used kerosene in a college print-making class, to clean up oil-based inks. It’s not the best choice, but it’s cheap. Better is turpentine, or even better – baby oil! It smells MUCH better, and is pretty cheap, too.
